Students who successfully finished intensive courses about digital transformation and industry 4.0 have received their certificates of participation at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb (FOI), on Thursday, 31 March 2022, the last day of the Intensive Courses for Higher Education Students (IC4HEDS) project.
Students received certificates from Vjeran Strahonja, PhD, head of the FOI’s project team.
Students received 2 ECTS points for each programme, one about digital transformation developed and implemented by FOI’s team and the other about industry 4.0 developed and implemented by the University of Pannonia in Nagykanizsa (UP). Each of these two-week programmes has been conducted throughout October and November 2021. Meanwhile, Technology Innovation Centre Medimurje (TICM) and the Business incubator from Nagykanizsa (NKVG) organized several workshops focused on strengthening students’ employability.
23 students from FOI and 30 students from UP received certificates of participation and 4 ECTS points.
Vjeran Strahonja, PhD, head of the FOI’s project team, presented the project activities and results to the students with the rest of the project team, Katarina Tomičić-Pupek, PhD, Martina Tomičić Furjan, PhD, and Karlo Nadoveza, M. Econ. After the presentation, the project team discussed plans and project ideas with students. Students shared their experience and thoughts and many of them expressed interest for participating in more similar projects in the future.
